Having been a tutor to over 100 students over the past four years, I have found helping others to achieve academic success to be a hugely rewarding experience. By providing students with individualised attention where I can allay concerns and insecurities can make a huge difference to the educational experience. Taking a holistic approach to learning can massively improve on self-confidence, spur a sense of curiosity and stimulate a real a love of learning. Many students are not challenged enough, and are easily disengaged by school and formal learning. Having been tutored as a child, I found it to be a hugely engaging and dynamic experience during which I learned a huge amount in a short space of time –which is a testament to the quality of teaching I was lucky to receive. I relish the challenge of recreating this experience for others.
I pride myself on my ability to modify my approach to cater to the student’s needs, but often I find students appreciate an informal but enthusiastic style. Patience and optimism are the main traits I strive to convey in my teaching and I particularly enjoy developing memory techniques with the students to enhance their learning.
What I do when I am not tutoring
To unwind I enjoy keeping up with current affairs and reading dystopian literature. I think there is no better way to relax than with a good book! I am also a keen debater who has achieved National level competition success.
The lesson with Hani for Biology went well and my daughter is pleased and will arrange more lessons. She said that Hani is one of the best tutor she has ever had from Keystone (Mother of Biology A Level Student)
"My son greatly enjoyed his time with Hani. Thanks v much indeed for fixing such great individuals to help nudge and guide him on his way. I think also will have benefits in other subjects from the methodology" (Father of Chemistry GCSE student)
Hani has been tutoring our daughter in chemistry and, in a space of three short months, Hani has turned our daughter from a grade C student to a predicted A* in her GCSE. Hani quickly connected with our daughter and identified her areas of weakness. Hani is methodical in her approach and sets achievable goals. As well as being an amazing tutor, she is an engaging, articulate and warm person with a great sense of humour. Hani has the unique ability of being able to bridge the gap between connecting with our teenage daughter as well as her middle aged parents. She has wonderful intuition and knows when to push forward and when to pull back resulting in our daughter’s growing confidence in chemistry. Hani gives 150 per cent of herself and it is obvious to see she really enjoys tutoring and is totally invested in your child’s success. Our daughter counts herself lucky to have Hani as a tutor and she actually looks forward to her weekly sessions with her. Every student, and every parent of a student, should have a Hani in their life! - Mother of GCSE Student
"We think Hani is fantastic! Our son really enjoys his time with Hani and thinks she is the best tutor ever! We are very lucky to have found her!" (Mother of Year 8 Science student)
“Things are now going really well for my daughter and Hani. They are focusing on Biology, in which clearly Hani is an expert, but it's not just that Hani knows her subject well - she also teaches it with contagious enthusiasm. She is clearly an instinctive teacher. Hani seemed to understand very quickly how my daughter learns best. She makes each session enjoyable but I am regularly surprised by how much material they actually cover. Perhaps the best indication of how things are going at this point is that my daughter genuinely looks forward to her sessions with Hani each week. Thanks again for recommending Hani to us. She's a gem!” (Mother of GCSE Science Student)
"He had a really GOOD UKCAT session with Hani". UKCAT student in Singapore
We really like Hani! It is still early days but our son really likes Hani and I think she will be great as she seems patient and calm which is what he needs. He just needs someone to believe in him and guide him and I think she could do this. So far she is excellent and also might be great for my eldest.
I wanted to let you know that my daughter took double award Science and got two A*s! I am sure her science grades were in part due to you, so I wanted to thank you again, so much, for all your help. My daughter really enjoyed her sessions with you.
'I can't tell you how lovely Hani is, it helps of course that she is delightful and clever and most of all she just gets my daughter. In the past my daughter has hated any kind of tutoring, she actually looks forward to Hani coming to us and working with her. AMAZING!' (Mother of GCSE Science student)
What can we say... You have been amazing with our son. So patient, kind and enthusiastic. We have been SO lucky to have you as our tutor...don’t want to let you go!
Next year our daughter has her GCSE’s so you will be hearing from us soon!
Thank you, thank you!

'I can't thank Hani enough, she helped me achieve an A in AS Maths! This was 3 months after getting a D in my mock.'
(A-Level Maths student)
'Hani came, and completely reformed my daughter’s views by simply being patient, sincere and inventive with her teaching methods. I have seen my daughter blossom over the past 18 months and it is due in huge part to Hani’s skills. My daughter has taken hugely to Hani and we hope she will come back and tutor for us when my daughter has her next exams.'
(Mother of GCSE Science student.)
'Thank you so much Hani. My daughter really likes you and the way you teach.' (Mother of GCSE Maths student)
