Growing up, I threw myself into everything with full commitment, whether that was competitive rowing, where I was scouted by two of the top boat clubs in the world, earning a black belt in Taekwondo, or performing as a singer at the Royal Opera House and on stages across the globe. That drive carried me into a career in investment banking while studying Accounting & Finance at Oxford Brookes University, and now in private equity.

Tutoring has always been a passion running alongside my professional life. There's something uniquely rewarding about watching a student click with a subject they'd written off, and the results speak for themselves: my students improve by an average of two grades. Over the years I've developed a repeatable, exam-optimised process that cuts through confusion and builds genuine confidence, tailored to how each student actually thinks.

My approach is built around one goal: making sure understanding actually sticks. Rather than passively working through material, I center sessions on past-paper questions, active recall, and varied methods of explanation - because the research is clear that retrieval practice and multiple exposures to an idea are what convert short-term cramming into long-term mastery.

What I've found, both through my own high-pressure career and years of tutoring, is that students who truly excel aren't just good memorisers, they understand the underlying models and first principles well enough to handle questions they've never seen before. That's what I build toward with every student.

Sessions are structured and purposeful, but never rigid. I adapt to how each person thinks, and I'm not afraid to slow down, reframe an idea entirely, or approach a problem from a completely different angle until it lands.

Outside of tutoring, I work in private equity with a focus on acquisitions.

I train six days a week, covering strength training, kayaking, and martial arts.

I also spend time reading across smart thinking, AI, and business strategy.
