Keystone is delighted to assist with homeschooling for children from primary age up to Year 9 before they begin the key exam years.
For younger students, homeschooling days can be a lot shorter, with two to three hours a day, often in the morning, to allow for extra-curricular activities in the afternoon. We can help prepare students for all of the different entrance points, 7 plus, 8 plus, ISEB pre-test, 11 plus Common Entrance and 13 plus Common Entrance as well as the less common entry points. We can help with mock assessments, mock interviews and academic preparation which we can incorporate into the weekly timetable to ensure the goal of the homeschooling is met. Our Schools Advisory team are always delighted to work with our homeschooling families to help guide them in any future school decisions that need to be made.
"I hugely enjoy my time homeschooling, and I feel the great number of hours of one-on-one contact time is particularly positive, since it gives me, as the tutor, the opportunity to really personalise the learning and address any difficulties whenever they arise, for as long as they take. The benefits of this, I think, were borne out of some of my students' successes at entrance exams at schools such as Radley, Summer Fields, Queensgate and Maida Vale."
