I’ve been tutoring since 2017, starting in sixth form where I helped younger students with debating, public speaking and humanities. I quickly realised I had a knack for breaking down tricky ideas and helping quieter students find their voice and confidence. This shaped how I teach ever since.

After leaving school with three A*s and straight 9's, I went to Culinary school and studied War Studies at King’s College London, graduating with First-Class Honours. Alongside my degree, I served as President of the KCL Politics Society, where I ran major events and workshops, coached students in debating, and helped them improve their writing and reasoning. In my final year I also founded the London Student Network, which strengthened the part of my work I enjoy most: motivating students, raising confidence, and helping people perform at their best under pressure.

Since then, I’ve built a varied tutoring practice. My core specialism is A-Level Politics, and I also tutor A-Level/GCSE History, GCSE English and RS, plus 11+/13+ English and humanities. I work with students preparing for entrance exams, students aiming to push into top bands at GCSE and A-Level, and international learners improving their English. Recently I’ve supported A-Level students with sharper essay structure, stronger arguments and more consistent evaluation, and I’ve helped EAL learners build vocabulary, reading fluency and speaking confidence.

Alongside tutoring, I also design and deliver workshops on confidence, communication and academic writing for schools and sixth forms, I’ve worked with several public and private schools.

Having tutored countless students over the years I recognise most students are limited not by ability but by self confidence. I aim to give foundational skills applicable across subjects, both in the classroom and on paper.

My teaching style is warm, structured and intentional. I set clear goals, keep lessons engaging, and give students simple methods they can reproduce in exams especially for planning, paragraphing and evaluation. I also coach debating and public speaking, so confidence and communication are built into everything we do.

When I’m not tutoring, I spend most of my time building the London Student Network, a student-focused organisation I founded. It’s work I’m committed to for the foreseeable future, but it also means I’m in full control of my schedule and can be very consistent and responsive around lessons.

I deliberately reserve up to around 20 hours a week for tutoring, and I currently have capacity beyond my existing commitments. I’m based near Tower Bridge and I’m happy to teach in person in central London, although I generally tutor online as it tends to be the most time-efficient and reliable for families.

Alongside tutoring and building, I'm a budding chef and an avid swimmer and cyclist.
