My journey in tutoring commenced during my university years, and I have accumulated over 9 years of invaluable experience guiding students at various academic levels. Beyond traditional tutoring, my role as an au pair in Italy afforded me the opportunity to tutor children in English and prepare them for entrance examinations. My expertise spans a wide range of academic levels, including 7+, 11+, 13+, and 16+ entrance examinations. Additionally, I provide subject-specific support up to GCSE level, with a specialisation in English and Geography extended to A-Level.

Hello, my name is Sofia and I am an experienced tutor with almost a decade of experience, specialising in English, humanities subjects, interview preparation and 11+ admissions. Alongside my tutoring work, I am reading my PhD in English Literature and work as a professional theatre director inc West End, the RSC and Shakespeare's Globe.
I was born in Warwickshire to Italian parents. I gained a double first in English Literature and Drama at the University of Exeter where I am now reading my PhD.

I am a freelance theatre director! I have most recently directed at the RSC, prior to that at Shakespeare's Globe and the West End musical, SIX.
In addition to tutoring and directing, I am a keen runner, running both marathons and ultra marathons all around the world!
