I have extensive experience teaching French and Spanish across a range of ages and settings. During my studies in France, I tutored students in French, Spanish, and English, and supported American exchange students with their academic work, regardless of subject. I completed teaching internships abroad, including four months in the Philippines—where alongside my placement I taught adults and children at the Alliance Française — and one month in Italy, as well as placements in French schools.

After completing a PGCE at UCL (Sep 2016 – Jul 2017), I taught French and Spanish in London secondary schools (2017–2020), covering GCSE (French Edexcel, Spanish AQA) in classroom, small-group, and one-to-one settings. I also supported students with EAL and SEND.

In 2025, I taught full-time at Trevor-Roberts mixed preparatory school, taking full responsibility for my classes and preparing students for Common Entrance exams and St Paul exam. Since September 2025, I have been teaching Spanish at Northwold Primary School on Mondays and French at Lyonsdown School (an all girls independent Prep School) on ednesdays and Thursdays. Across all roles, my approach is interactive, student-centered, and tailored to help learners from pre-nursery to A-Level achieve their goals.

I am a French native speaker and a qualified primary and secondary school teacher with a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language, as well as extensive international experience. I studied Spanish at university level in France and in Spain, followed by a PGCE at UCL.

Professionally, I taught French and Spanish in London secondary schools for several years, preparing students up to GCSE (Edexcel, AQA, IB). I then taught French in a preparatory school, taking full responsibility for my classes and preparing pupils for Common Entrance exams and the St Paul’s scholarship.

I am currently a full-time French and Spanish teacher in preparatory schools and offer face-to-face and online tuition. My lessons are interactive, student-centred, and tailored to support learners from primary level to A-Level. I also have experience working with students with EAL and SEND.

My teaching approach is based on combining linguistic precision with cultural immersion. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, ensuring that grammar and vocabulary are always taught in context and reinforced through authentic resources such as articles, videos, songs, and literature. I create lessons that are interactive and include as many real-life situations as possible, helping students use the language naturally and confidently. I encourage reflection and independence, guiding learners to understand how a language works and why it is used in certain ways. Whether working with primary pupils, GCSE and A-Level students, or adult learners, I adapt my methods to each individual’s goals and learning style, creating a supportive yet challenging environment that builds both skill and confidence.

I currently work full-time in London prep schools, teaching French and Spanish from Early Years to Year 6. Alongside my school roles, I provide tutoring from nursery level up to A-Level, supporting learners in French, Spanish, and general primary literacy.

Last year, I tutored students across Early Years, Primary, Secondary, GCSE, and A-Level, helping them build confidence, improve exam performance, and develop long-term study skills.

Outside teaching, I train in Kathak, Flamenco, and singing, disciplines that strengthen my patience, focus, and perseverance. I also continue my language studies, maintaining Hindi and Korean and learning Tagalog. My long-term goal is to remain a versatile language educator capable of supporting students individually and helping them reach their full potential.
