Sean studied Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at Durham University where he subsequently completed a Masters of Science in Global Politics. Sean has tutored since 2019 and has a real passion for education, learning and teaching.
Florence is an experienced tutor who has worked across the age range, helping 120 Keystone clients. While first completing a DPhil and then working as a research fellow at Oxford, Florence held several teaching and lecturing roles. However, she also helps primary level students build solid foundations. Florence encourages her tutees to become self-motivated learners with a love for their subjects.
A graduate from King's College London, Alex specialises in online tutoring. He joined Keystone in 2011 and has taught over 7,800 hours.

Jonny is an Oxford graduate and is currently studying for a PhD in Italian Studies at Cambridge. He teaches languages as well as English and Maths. Jonny has supported 70 Keystone students and delivered 1,800 hours worth of lessons. He is a passionate actor and writer who loves to work on theatrical projects outside of tutoring.

In recent years, many independent senior schools that have put pre-tests in place have purposefully designed them with as little transparency as possible. It is for this reason that the tests are often computer generated and no past papers are issued. A Guide to A Level English Language
Is English Language a good A Level subject? English Language A Level is a really good choice if you have enjoyed the language aspects of your GCSE English course. Students will recall that study for the GCSE Language qualification is what we might call more ‘programmatic’: this is a more technical discipline, requiring a focus on technical aspects of language, and which looks as ‘texts’ that are sometimes a long way from the highbrow and romantic reading of the Literature qualification.
