"Alice had to step in just a few weeks before 11+ ISEB began and she hit the ground running. She breezed into the house bringing tranquillity and professional calm. I have never met a Keystone Tutor who is not on top of her brief but what was most welcome was that the kids absolutely loved being with her as well. “But, lessons are fun with Alice”, said my daughter when the 11+ exams ended. Quirky, intelligent, flexible, fun and worked a treat for my kid"
Parent of Year 6 and Year 8 students"Max has been absolutely fantastic with my daughter and he has taught her so much and helped her confidence grow. My daughter did very well on the ISEB and also got through to the second round City Exam which meant that she got invited for an interview for all the schools she applied for - this would not have been possible without Max's fab tutoring! He has a very calm approach and equally makes the lessons fun. I could not recommend him more highly!"

Guide to Computerised Pre-tests
In recent years, many independent senior schools that have put pre-tests in place have purposefully designed them with as little transparency as possible. It is for this reason that the tests are often computer generated and no past papers are issued. As such, no tutor can claim to have in depth knowledge or experience of the tests themselves, in their current form.
ISEB Pre-Test Scores and Pass Mark
The way the ISEB Pre-Test is scored, and the way the results are used by different schools, can be confusing for parents. The key questions parents have about these tests are answered below.
Webinar: How to Use the Summer Holiday to Maximise your University Application
In this webinar Keystone's Managing Director, Ed Richardson, was joined by Jenny McGowan, our Director in Asia, to discuss the sorts of preparation students can complete over the Summer Holidays of Year 12 to ensure they submit a strong UCAS application. The discussion covers how to prepare effectively with particular reference to the importance of super-curricular learning, admissions tests and the personal statement.
Tips for Dealing with Exam Season Anxiety
Keystone's Head of Elective and Homeschooling, Poppy Dundas, was joined by our guest expert Clare de Lotbiniere, a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Professional Tutors Jon Gale and Lara Isaac. Lara is also a trained nutritionist and together they discuss how best to get your child prepared for the upcoming exams, including dealing with exam anxiety and calming nerves, keeping motivation strong, the best foods to eat and general revision tips and tricks.
The ISEB (Independent Schools Examination Board) Pre-Test is used to test a child’s current learning and academic potential. It is used by a range of private secondary schools in the UK to assess children before the 13+ entrance exams and at a handful of schools as a pre-test to 11+ entry.
The test consists of English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning segments. It is an online test normally delivered at the child's current school or the school the student is applying to, and the questions are adaptive, meaning that correct answers will unlock even harder questions.
The ISEB Pre-Test tutors we represent are made up of experienced professional private tutors. All of them are passionate about the subjects they specialise in, and have extensive experience in helping their students to develop and reach their full potential.
The ISEB Pre-Test tutors that we represent can benefit your child, whether the tuition is delivered in person or online.
