I've always been an impassioned learner ever since I was a child. When I was in year 9 at Notre Dame RC School, I was grateful to have the wonderful opportunity to study Astronomy as an extracurricular after school and, that summer, I successfully passed the GCSE.

I took four A-levels (Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Spanish) when the rest of my peers took three and was awarded the highest achievement award for getting the best grades in my year.

I then took a gap year before attending the University of York where I taught myself the Further Maths A-level.

After graduating from York with a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy, I decided to continue my pursuit of knowledge by beginning a Master's degree in Mathematics at Queen Mary University of London. I plan to continue tutoring part-time alongside my Master’s degree as I did when I was an undergrad.

I think the most important factor to a student's academic success is their confidence level. As such, I endeavor to create a learning environment where the student feels comfortable asking questions and letting me know when they don't understand. I want my students to feel encouraged to be themselves and engage with the lesson's content so that I can instill in them the same love for learning that I have.

Whether the lesson is online or in person, I make sure to tailor it to the specific individual's needs and include interactive tasks. It is always my hope that my students leave my tuition impassioned learners after finding enjoyment in their subjects.

I am currently working towards my Master's degree in Mathematics at Queen Mary University of London. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking and taking walks along the river.
