He is always very punctual and accommodating in terms of her learning, by this I mean sometimes they may do English Literature and other times focus on the Language part. He is very flexible and can do this on the day. My daughter says that he explains things in a way which is clear to understand and that she enjoys her sessions with him. He is very encouraging (and hopefully bringing out the best in her). This is lovely to hear, as she doesn't normally enjoy English lessons!"Mother of GCSE English student

The General Certificate in Secondary Education or GCSE is a subject-based academic qualification taken by students in the UK at the end of their compulsory education in Year 11 (age 16). They are typically studied over a 2 or 3 year period, starting in either Year 9 or 10 depending on the subject, exam board or school and finish with a set of examinations at the end of the course.
