GCSE Latin Tutors
Michael
Michael studied Classics at Oxford and subsequently completed his MA in Comparative Literature at UCL. He has led numerous Keystone courses as well as supporting over 120 Keystone families. Outside of tutoring, Michael is a keen writer and a thespian at heart.
Keren
Keren is an Oxford University graduate and qualified teacher with a wealth of tutoring experience. She joined Keystone in 2009 and has taught over 3,600 hours. Keren specialises in teaching Classics and English to all ages as well as 11+/13+ English and Maths.
Olly
Olly is an Oxford graduate and experienced tutor. He has a real passion for teaching as well as for writing, theatre and sport. Olly has taught over 5,100 hours with Keystone.
Alex
Alex joined Keystone in 2016 having graduated with a First Class Degree. Since starting at Keystone he has taught over 6,400 hours with more than 170 families and teaches all the way up from 11+ - A Level.
Alice
Alice is an Oxford graduate with a passion for academia and learning. She enjoys working with children across the age range and can also help with Oxbridge preparation. Alice is completing a PhD in archaeology alongside her tutoring work and has delivered 2,200 hours of lessons with Keystone families.
James
James is an experienced tutor with a PhD in English and a Classics degree from Cambridge. James understands the importance of building strong relationships in order for his students to get the most out of his lessons. He has taught over 3,600 hours helping around 120 students.
Iante
Iante is experienced Humanities and Languages tutor. Alongside tutoring Iante is hoping to pursue interests in contemporary Middle Eastern Art.
Tommaso Alessandro
Tommaso teaches English, History, Italian, Psychology, Philosophy and RS across the age range. He also helps with Maths at 11+ and 13+. He has been tutoring alongside his studies for the past 5 years.
Julia
Julia is a highly experienced teacher, who was Head of Classics at a top London prep school for over 10 years before joining Keystone. She teaches English, French, Latin and Greek. Julia has a patient and nurturing approach, which allows her students to gain confidence in their studies.
John
John is a Politics and Classical Civilisation tutor with a passion for learning and an impressive academic background. He encourages his tutees to become 'active learners' and to steer away from 'parrot-like' approaches to studying.
Matthew
Matt is a tutor and theatre director with a passion for education. He has a fantastic academic record and a kind, enthusiastic disposition.
Sebastian
Sebastian is an Oxford graduate who teaches a variety of subjects across the age range. He has many years of teaching and tutoring experience and believes in inspiring his students and helping them to become independent learners.
Lou
Lou is an experienced and professional tutor in Latin and French up to A level, including IB. We were particularly impressed by her up-beat and methodical approach to tutoring.
Dhananjay
Dhananjay is a Cambridge graduate and a gifted linguist. He teaches from the 11+ - university level. He is currently a full-time tutor.
Richard
Richard studied Classics at Oxford University and then went on to complete a PGCE in Maths. He teaches Maths, Latin and Greek up to A Level and tutors alongside teaching at a top independent school.
