Theo read War Studies at King’s College London and then worked for the Ministry of Defence before joining Keystone as a full-time tutor. He believes that all students have intellectual potential and helps them cultivate this. Theo has taught over 1,100 hours with Keystone families both online and in person.
Jon is a former Head of Science with over 10 years' experience in teaching GCSE Science and A-level Physics. He joined Keystone in 2012 and has helped 240 Keystone families over this period, teaching more than 9,500 hours.
Anthony graduated with a Physics degree from Imperial College, London. He tutors across the board from 11+ through to A Level and has taught over 4,800 hours with Keystone as well as having considerable tutoring experience prior to joining our team of full-time tutors in 2017.
Richard graduated with a 1st class degree in Maths from the University of Leeds. He has been tutoring Maths for over 8 years alongside his studies. Richard's teaching style is adaptive and allows his lessons to be tailored to the needs of his students.

Jean-Michel is an experienced tutor with degrees in Physics, Philosophy and Literature. He enjoys finding new ways of teaching his subjects and aims to foster a love of learning in his students. During his time at Keystone, Jean-Michel has taught over 1,800 hours.

Grace studied Natural Sciences at Durham before embarking upon a MSc in Neuroscience at King’s College London. Grace has taught over 1,100 hours and helped 50 Keystone families. She has a passion for Maths and Science and strives to create a teaching environment where pupils feel able to ask questions and be themselves.
Harry is a patient and personable Oxford graduate with a flawless academic background. He uses a calm and supportive approach to build a strong rapport with each of his students. Harry is an experienced tutor in Religious Studies, Maths and English, with over 3,000 hours taught whilst at Keystone.

Cat is a qualified Teacher who studied Physics and Philosophy at Durham University. She is currently working towards a PhD in the Philosophy of Astrobiology alongside her tutoring. Cat is very encouraging and supportive and recognises the importance of moving at the right pace for each individual and has worked with 30 Keystone clients.
Alexander is a Cambridge graduate and exceptional Mathematician. He teaches students across the age and ability range but mainly focuses on A Level, IB and MAT/STEP tuition.
Dhananjay is a Cambridge graduate and a gifted linguist. He teaches from the 11+ - university level. He is currently a full-time tutor.

A Guide to STEP Maths
What is STEP Maths? STEP stands for Sixth Term Examination Paper and is a collection of three exams (STEP 1, 2 and 3) which traditionally are used in conditional offers by Cambridge to determine if you get accepted for Maths or Maths-related degrees. Other universities, like Warwick and Imperial, use STEP in some of their Maths offers. You sit these papers in the Summer alongside your other exams like A-Levels, IB and Pre-U.
The Maths Admissions Test (MAT) at Oxford
What is the MAT? The Maths Admissions Test (MAT) is the admissions test used by Oxford for degrees in Mathematics. If you’re applying for a Maths or Computer Science degree at Oxford or a Maths degree at Imperial College London, you must sit the MAT just after beginning year 13 in late October/early November.

Tips for Dealing with Exam Season Anxiety
Keystone's Head of Elective and Homeschooling, Poppy Dundas, was joined by our guest expert Clare de Lotbiniere, a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Professional Tutors Jon Gale and Lara Isaac. Lara is also a trained nutritionist and together they discuss how best to get your child prepared for the upcoming exams, including dealing with exam anxiety and calming nerves, keeping motivation strong, the best foods to eat and general revision tips and tricks.
