Maths represents an important component of the 8+ entrance assessments to most independent schools who have an 8+ entry. The 8+ Maths exam will predominantly cover core number skill as well as problem solving. Given the competitive nature of 8+ entrance tests thoughtful and targeted preparation is advisable.
