I have over 20 years of teaching experience, with over 15 years of lecturing and tutoring experience in the Oxbridge environment. I have taught and lectured in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics English, Biochemistry and Medicine up to A-level, IB, undergraduate and graduate levels. I have coached many students through their school admissions, board exams, scholarship applications and university admissions including UCAT, BMAT, NSAA and CASPER preparation.

I was born in Toronto, Canada and internationally educated in both Canada and the United Kingdom. Having successfully completed my undergraduate and Masters in Science at Queen's University in Canada I was awarded a scholarship from the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust to pursue my DPhil in Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge. Upon completing my studies, I moved to Oxford to pursue cutting edge research in Medicine at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. I enjoy teaching and have more than 20 years of teaching experience, with 15 years of experience lecturing and tutoring in the Oxbridge environment.

“Our 13 year old son is normally a reluctant learner... Dr Nurmohamed excels in engaging him in his science lessons. She knows how to make the lessons interesting and she is able to draw the best out of him. He is very enthusiastic about the topics and he likes to talk about what he has learned. Our son has progressed a lot in school too. The hour long 1-1 sessions are really fantastic to help our son with all his science subjects.”

“The BMAT course has been really helpful, as it provided me with tips to score well on each section. Especially the section 3 part was really helpful, where I learnt how to break down the essay and approach it better.”

Parent

“Your tips have been really helpful. Focusing on each section separately and breaking them down allowed me to get a better understanding of the test and shape my expectations about what kind of questions I will be seeing on the test day.”

“We just wanted to update you that my daughter is thrilled to have received an offer from Oxford for Medicine yesterday. Please convey our thanks to the interview tutors that supported her in her practice sessions. She really appreciated and valued their contributions.”
