I have taught and tutored across Key Stages 2–5, as well as at university level, working within UK, international, and independent-school contexts. My experience combines classroom teaching with extensive one-to-one tutoring, particularly focused on selective school entry and public examination preparation.
A-Level Law (OCR):
Currently teaching Year 12–13 at Kimberley Sixth Form College. Responsibilities include curriculum delivery, assessment design, and exam preparation, with a particular focus on problem questions, essay structure, statutory interpretation, and evaluation in line with OCR mark schemes.
English & History (GCSE & A-Level – Tutoring):
Extensive experience tutoring English and History at GCSE and A-Level, working with AQA, OCR, and Edexcel specifications. This includes targeted support for students at academically selective schools and those preparing for progression to highly competitive sixth forms.
11+ and ISEB Common Entrance (Selective School Preparation):
Significant experience preparing pupils for 11+ and ISEB Common Entrance, particularly in English, including comprehension, written tasks, and interview preparation. I have supported successful applications to selective independent schools, including King’s College School, Wimbledon, Westminster School, and The Latymer School.
International & University-Level Teaching:
Former lecturer at the University of Tübingen, teaching undergraduate courses in English Language, Academic Writing, and Applied Linguistics. Also taught senior students at the German International School Washington D.C., including the development and delivery of AP-level courses in International Law.
Latin (Key Stages 2–3 | ISEB):
Experience teaching Latin at KS2 and KS3, including ISEB Common Entrance, with a focus on foundational grammar, vocabulary, and translation.
