Below is a sample of feedback Mark has received:
Hannah A Level Physics
'what to say? I know I won't be able to replace you.
Hannah hated physics before you started working with her. Now she 'gets it' and it's her favourite A Level subject. You not only made sure she had a good grasp of the fundamentals - and you always took her systematically from first principles to application - but you also tried to stretch her. You tried to raise her game beyond the basics so she could be prepared for tough interviews and the much more competitive environment ahead of her if she gets her dream university place. You also tried to make her more conscious of the learning strategies needed for efficient and successful studying.
I am sorry you won't be around for her A2 year to test her understanding, to challenge her and keep her focussed. Hannah says that after she covered topics with you, they stuck in her mind in a way that they didn't at school. She says you made physics interesting.'
Jerome and Toby GCSE Science:
From Emma (mother) (5/5): Fantastic! Mark built a great rapport with the boys… for once they enjoyed studying! Explains things well using various methods and gets the students talking to ensure they really do understand. Set homework after each session to highlight any weak areas and went over these again. Flexible with arrangements, gave a quick summary of how things were going each time. Would definitely recommend Mark, and would use again for my younger son when he's old enough.
Daniel A Level Physics:
From Rowena (mother) (5/5): Mark is excellent. Very knowledgeable ,great with my son and brilliant at teaching. i would definitely recommend him.
