I have extensive experience of private tutoring. I have tutored common entrance (11+ and 13+) on a regular basis for several years now and have successfully prepared pupils for Wellington College, Winchester, St Paul's Girls School, Eton, Harrow and Dulwich.
I was educated at Kendrick School in Berkshire. I attained 11A*s at GCSE and AAA at A Level (Economics, Mathematics and Latin).
I then studied for a BA Classics at University College London, from which I graduated with First Class Honours in September 2016.
I completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in June 2017 and I am now in the process of studying the Legal Practice Course.
I have a dynamic and flexible approach to tutoring. I think it is important to adjust the structure and style of tutoring to meet the needs and aims of the particular individual. My key aim is to raise the achievements of individuals beyond their own expectations with challenging and rewarding lessons.
I always keep lessons as interactive as possible, using a question and answer technique as well as engaging and creative materials. As the exams approach, I typically switch the focus to past papers and exam technique so that students develop the practical skills to deploy their knowledge.
What I do when I am not tutoring
I intend to practise as a solicitor after the completion of the Legal Practice Course. Accordingly, I have a substantial amount of free time in which to tutor at the moment.
When I am not tutoring, I enjoy playing sports such as hockey and tennis. I also run a youth debating club.

''Harriet went above and beyond what you would expect from a tutor. I have full confidence in recommending her'' (Mother of 11+ student)
''My son has really enjoyed the lessons so far and his confidence has gone from strength to strength'' (Father of 13+ student)
''[X] was really disappointed that he had to wait 6 more days until his next lesson. He really enjoyed it. That has never happened before!'' (Nanny of 7+ student)
