Established in 2007, Keystone Tutors is one of the UK’s leading private tutoring organisations. Here is a sample of the IB Biology tutors that we represent. They are predominantly based in London and work online with families based outside of London or overseas.
Jon is a former Head of Science with over 10 years' experience in teaching GCSE Science and A-level Physics. He joined Keystone in 2012 and has helped 240 Keystone families over this period, teaching more than 9,500 hours.
Before joining Keystone in 2019 Claudia taught Science at Westminster Cathedral Choir School for four years. She has tutored over 1,000 hours and assisted 60 Keystone clients. She urges her students to look at Science beyond the syllabus as it makes it easier for students to understand concepts and improve their skills.
Sarah is an extremely experienced educator and academic. Sarah studied in Canada and the UK and can help with Science and Maths across the board as well as oxbridge admissions.
Kate is a qualified Teacher and an experienced tutor. She teaches across the age range and her tutoring has taken her across the globe. She has now settled back in London where she tutors full-time.
Jonathan is an experienced Biologist. He has a wealth of experience of teaching at top London schools including Godolphin and Latymer and St Pauls. He impressed us at interview with his ability to support and extend the learning of each of his students.
Shahid is an experienced tutor with a BSc in Cardiovascular Science from Imperial College. He teaches Biology, Chemistry and Physics at both GCSE and A Level, as well as supporting students with their university applications in these subjects.
"Kate has not only helped me to understand the hardest topics in IB Biology HL and how to memorise the knowledge but she has also made me appreciate the subject. Thanks to her, I discovered a passion for biology that I previously was not aware of. We often say that students learn better and get better grades when they like the teacher. Kate is the proof that this is true. Unfortunately, this year we have not been able to prove out abilities during the end of year exams but I am sure that I would have performed really well thanks to Kate’s tutoring"
IB Biology Student"Natasha helped our son on weekly online sessions with Biology, Physics and Chemistry GCSE syllabus. Having come from overseas he felt he needed some support and consolidation in these subjects and Natasha was able to do that with her amazing knowledge across the three sciences. She is kind and positive, and established a great rapport with our son, really helping him and boosting his confidence which in turn, enabled him to gain A* in all three subjects at GCSE. We love Natasha!"

The Rise of the IB
The International Baccalaureate is now on offer at 194 schools across the UK, educating over 5000 students. The UK has happily ambled through the last half of a century with dreams that the A-Levels are the best assessment for eighteen year olds. Whilst most of us would have agreed, clearly others have been left wondering if there is a better option.
