I have over 15,000 hours of one to one tuition experience, primarily in Maths at A level, both in person and online. I have helped students obtain places at LSE, Imperial, Cambridge, UCL, Oxford, etc including helping with preparation for entry tests and interviews.

I also teach Physics and Further Maths A Levels and GCSEs covering all major exam boards.

Typical students of mine study Maths along with their passion subjects such as Economics, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, English, Politics, Psychology to which they are applying to university. I help them primarily in Maths and in preparation for admissions tests such as the TMUA.

For example in 2026 I have a student now studying Economics at St John's College Cambridge, another who will start PPE at University College Oxford and a student who achieved A* in Maths who is going to study Economics at UCL.

Biography

I received my Master's degree in Experimental and Theoretical Physics from Cambridge in 2013 having studied the Natural Sciences Tripos there in the years prior.

At A Level I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A level where I achieved an average examination score of 94%.

Since graduating I have been tutoring full-time, putting all my efforts into being the best Maths tutor in the UK.

Approach to Tutoring

I love to turn good students into the best, always pushing and stretching my pupils to get the most out of them. For those looking to achieve the top grades, I can offer my experience in fine-tuning exam technique, as well as giving insight and tutoring in more advanced papers (TMUA, ESAT, STEP). I also offer personal and informative preparatory advice for those students applying to Oxbridge.

On the flip side I have seen that the teaching of maths and science in the classroom can sometimes leave students feeling dejected, uninterested, and even unable, often sapping their confidence. I aim to rebuild this confidence and unlock each student's true potential. Together we can fill gaps in understanding, consolidate material, get ahead of the syllabus and ultimately strive towards better grades.

In any case, every lesson will be tailored to each student's individual needs.

When not tutoring

I am, and have been, fully committed to tutoring for my whole professional life.

When I am not tutoring you will likely find me playing football, squash, pinball, padel or foosball if I am not swimming, working out or practising BJJ. Otherwise you will find me spending time with my friends and family.

If there's any time left - and there usually is not - I will be dancing, hiking, reading, painting or writing.
