We are offering two options, an AQA course and an Edexcel course. Details for each course are below.
Physics Edexcel IGCSE Course Description
This intensive 5-day course will focus on the application of syllabus content to exam questions. Each day will look at a broad range of question types and how content can be examined in this context. Students will be taught how to use mark schemes as a revision aid, identifying gaps in knowledge and how to tackle these.
Physics Edexcel IGCSE Course Outline
Day 1: Key concepts of Physics, motion and forces. Conservation of energy.
Day 2: Waves, light and the electromagnetic spectrum. Electricity and circuits, static electricity.
Day 3: Magnetism and the motor effect. Electromagnetic induction.
Day 4: Radioactivity and Astronomy.
Day 5: Particle model, forces, pressure and density.
Physics Edexcel IGCSE Course Tutor
This course will be run by one of our professional tutors, Jon. Jon is a former Head of Science with over 10 years' experience in teaching GCSE Science and A-level Physics. He joined Keystone in 2012 and has helped 180 Keystone families over this period, teaching more than 7,200 hours.
Physics AQA GCSE Course Description
This 5 day course will focus on preparing students for their AQA GCSE Physics exam. During the course, students will revisit some key topics from the course in order to cement their understanding and provide a solid foundation on which to build exam technique. Students will then learn to apply their understanding to exam style questions in order to maximise the potential for marks during their exam.

Day 1: Forces (Types of Forces, Newton’s Laws and Moments).
Day 2: Motion (Velocity, Acceleration and Momentum).
Day 3: Energy (Work, Energy and Power).
Day 4: Electricity (Static Electricity, Circuits and Mains Electricity).
Day 5: Waves (Properties of Waves, Electromagnetic waves and Lenses).
Physics AQA GCSE Course Tutor
This course will be run by Richard. Richard is a qualified Science Teacher who has many years experience in the classroom. He approaches each new student with openness and adapts to the student's learning style in order to help them break down complex scientific ideas.
Maximum Class Size: 7
