I am a Chartered Accountant with nine years of experience across internal and external audit at KPMG, Goldman Sachs, and Standard Life, bringing strong analytical, commercial, and financial experience.

After an enjoyable and rewarding career in finance, I recently transitioned into education, qualifying as a Business and Economics Teacher to fulfil an ambition to support young people in their academic development. Alongside teaching Business and Economics, I am passionate about helping students develop practical financial literacy skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom. My background in industry enables me to bring real-world commercial insight into my teaching, helping students connect theoretical concepts with practical business and financial applications.

Having completed my PGCE teacher training placements at both a comprehensive state school and an independent girls’ school, I have developed a teaching approach that prioritises engaging, interactive, and enjoyable lessons. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students are actively involved in their learning through real-world case studies, collaborative exam question practice, and creative, interactive activities that make key concepts both memorable and accessible. My goal is to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help students achieve their full potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active and have completed both the London Marathon and a HYROX event. I enjoy exploring new running routes and challenging myself through fitness. I also enjoy reading and spending quality time with friends and family.
