How it works:
Our comprehensive offering is divided into 6 modules. Whilst many students complete all of the modules, this provides flexibility for students to select the modules that meet their needs. All programmes are delivered 1-to-1 to ensure a completely bespoke experience for each student.
Module 1: Application Management
A Keystone consultant will provide a dedicated point of contact and oversight of the student’s application. The consultant will advise on course and college choices and thereafter support the student throughout the application process, managing deadlines and assisting with the completion of the UCAS form (excluding the personal statement which is included within module 5).
Module 2: Guided Reading Programme
The student will work with one of our subject specialist tutors to discuss the themes and ideas that underpin the subject. Through following our guided reading programme students will read broadly around their chosen subject. A bespoke reading list will also be provided to allow for independent study between sessions with the tutor.
Module 3: Specialist Knowledge Programme
A specialist tutor will be assigned to support candidates in developing a unique angle to their application, ensuring they stand out from other applicants. Having identified the student’s particular interest in the subject they will develop and deepen their expertise in this area, allowing them to make it a central part of their personal statement as well as the interview process.
Module 4: Test Prep Programme
This intensive course will provide tutoring for the aptitude tests that will underpin a student’s application. We will provide a tutor who has expert knowledge of the relevant test.
Module 5: Personal Statement Drafting
The student will be provided with guidance on drafting their personal statement. Expert members of our team will review iterations of the personal statement, providing practical feedback and guidance on how to ensure it represents the candidate in the best possible light.
Please Note: We recommend up to 10 reviews and only provide feedback on drafts; we are unable to redraft or rewrite anything on behalf of the student, as the personal statement must be the student’s own work.
Module 6: Interview Preparation
We recommend three mock interviews, conducted by expert tutors who are familiar with the requirements of the Oxford and Cambridge interview process.
