The Geography Admissions Test (GAT) is an exam used by Oxford University as part of their assessment process for candidates applying to study Geography.
The GAT consists of 2 sections:
1. A test designed to assess the candidate’s analytical and critical thinking skills, and for which no prior subject knowledge is required. (45 minutes)
2. A test designed to assess the candidates skills at data analysis and interpretation, and their ability to use these to solve problems. (45 minutes).?
The GAT takes place in November each year.
The Tutors we represent can help your child refine both their critical thinking and analytical skills, and also their ability to understand and make use of data in problem solving.?These are skills that require dedicated practice and detailed feedback to improve. The Tutors will be able to take your child through practice papers to familiarise them with the time pressure and challenging nature of this exam.
