The Economics Admissions Test (ECAA) is an exam used by Cambridge University to assess candidates applying to study Economics. The test assesses a candidate’s potential, and is designed to be very demanding.
This 2 hour examination consists of 2 sections:
Tests take place in early November.
The ECAA is a challenging test, assessing your child’s ability to succeed on a highly-sought after course in Economics at Cambridge, as part of the wider admissions process.
The Tutors we represent can help your child prepare for the test by focusing on their reasoning using numerical and spatial skills, and by practicing their problem solving abilities under time pressure. They can also help reinforce the advanced mathematical skills your child will need to pass section 1 of the ECAA. Finally, they can also help your child refine their ability to engage with and comment on key texts in Economics, and develop their thinking about the ideas they contain.
The tutors we represent are able to deliver in-person tuition within central London. For those outside of central London we offer online tutoring.
The tutors we represent are well versed in delivering online tuition, using videoconferencing and an interactive whiteboard. This gives students, wherever they are in the world, access to experienced, high quality tutors who are familiar with the requirements of the ECAA.
