With a strong foundation in secondary school teaching and a full-time tutoring career since 2015, I bring over a decade of experience helping students succeed across a wide range of subjects. I specialise in English Language, English Literature, Maths, Further Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning – supporting learners through key academic milestones such as 11+, 13+, GCSEs, and A-levels.

I’m well-versed in the demands of all major exam boards, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, IB and IGCSE, and I’ve had considerable success preparing students for ISEB Common Entrance exams as well as competitive admissions for leading independent schools such as Eton, Sevenoaks, Brighton College, Lancing College, and Harrow.

Every student learns differently, and I take pride in creating tailored lessons and bespoke resources to meet individual needs. My aim is always to build confidence, close gaps in understanding, and help each student reach their full academic potential.

Throughout the academic year, I work both online and in person – offering lessons in students’ homes and delivering in-school support. I’m especially committed to educational equality, and I partner with local schools to provide affordable, high-quality tuition for disadvantaged students. I also have specialist experience working with neurodivergent learners, particularly those with ASD and PDA, ensuring they receive the structure and support that helps them thrive.

My work has also taken me internationally, delivering intensive residential tuition in locations such as New York, Dubai, Italy, Austria, and remote parts of Scotland. These immersive programmes are ideal for families seeking expert guidance in the UK curriculum, especially when preparing for entrance exams or GCSEs.

I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Linguistics from Queen Mary University of London, and trained as an English teacher through the prestigious and highly selective Teach First programme. This allowed me to earn my PGCE while teaching full-time, followed by a Master’s degree in Transformational Leadership in Education, which I completed with Distinction.

Since then, I’ve worked extensively with students preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, 11+ and 13+ entrance exams, teaching English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. As a fully qualified teacher, I now work full-time as a private tutor — teaching in students’ homes, online, and in partnership with schools to deliver high-quality academic support. I also provide international residential tuition for families seeking expert guidance within the UK curriculum.

With a strong academic background and years of hands-on experience, I understand how to support students as they build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their best. My approach is responsive, encouraging, and always tailored to the individual — whether we’re mastering tricky topics, preparing for exams, or building long-term academic skills.

My extensive and balanced experience in education allows me to provide tailored tuition that genuinely meets the unique needs, goals, and learning styles of each individual student. I take a collaborative approach, working closely with both students and families to build a strong foundation of trust and shared purpose as we work towards meaningful, aspirational outcomes.

I believe that long-term success comes from thoughtful planning, consistent support, and a clear understanding of each student’s strengths and challenges. My tuition is underpinned by industry best practices — including regular progress tracking, personalised lesson planning, formative assessment, and responsive feedback — all designed to help students grow in confidence and ability.

Whether it’s adapting to evolving academic demands or helping students stay motivated and organised, I ensure that each step of the learning journey is clear, focused, and purpose-driven. My goal is not just academic improvement, but developing independent, self-assured learners who are equipped for long-term success.

As I tutor full-time, I am commited to ensuring my students have everything they need on a week-by-week basis.

However, when I am not teaching, you can find me reading non-fiction (present interests include, but are not limited to: Chaos Theory, Iterative Theories of Identity, Self-Sufficiency) or poetry.

I am also fairly outgoing, and I value and cherish my relationships with friends and family, so I spend a large proportion of my free time outdoors with the people I care about.
