I am Lucie, born in France with a multi-cultural background, I moved to London and went to University to obtain my PGCE.

Passionate about people, culture and languages, I have made a career and a lifestyle out of my passions for over ten years.

I have been fully dedicated to my career and worked in a wide range of educational roles. Most significantly, I worked as a Head of Year and Language coordinator in London and abroad.

I am a true believer in the transformative power of education and this is what motivates me to keep working with children.

It's really important to build a strong relationship with the student to understand how to best support them and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

I make it a priority to constantly review lessons and adapt them to best suit the pupil.

Dynamic and versatile, I use a wide range of techniques (songs, drama, computer games, reading...)

I have high expectations and encourage children to use their linguistic skills whenever possible, this is a fantastic way to keep them engaged and excited about languages.

I help them with time-management, organisation and exam techniques in order to achieve better results.

I am currently working as a Head of French teacher in south west London.

During my free time, I do a lot of volunteering particularly with a charity supporting children in South America.

I enjoy travelling, reading and outdoors activities such as cycling and hiking.
