I have been working as a tutor since 2020, and during that time, have worked with a wide range of ages and abilities. The majority of my work is between 11+ (St Pauls, Downe House) and GCSE/IGCSE level. I have also helped with 13+ preparation (Marlborough, Bryanston) and University applications and interviews.

I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2017 with a BA (Hons) in Geography. After graduating from Oxford, I worked for three years in the City as an analyst at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management. Following my lifelong passion for wildlife, I then spent 3.5 years working in conservation in Kenya, where I was involved in range of different activities, from developing business and fundraising strategies for conservancies, to rescuing orphaned elephants.

Currently, I am working full time as a tutor/mentor and have over 2000 hours of experience.

I am a keen sportswoman, and outside of academic work at Oxford, my main focus was playing Lacrosse. I also enjoy spending time in the mountains, whether it be skiing in winter or hiking in summer; I have summitted Mont Blanc, Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro over the past few years, and am currently looking for my next challenge!

I believe that the role of a tutor is to support and engage a student, and to instil a passion for learning above and beyond the school curriculum. With my students, I seek to foster a positive and fulfilling learning environment. It is incredibly important to me to celebrate a tutee’s strengths and interests, boosting both their curiosity and confidence, and encouraging self-motivation. I believe that if a student is enjoying the learning process, they will be able to significantly enhance both their personal and academic achievements.

I have extensive experience tutoring a range of different ages and abilities and recognise the importance of developing personalised strategies for my students. I use a variety of approaches and techniques to make tutoring sessions as productive, enjoyable and fulfilling as possible for my tutees.

Currently, I am working full time as a tutor/mentor and have over 2500 hours of experience.
