Every child learns differently, so I believe the most effective tuition is tailored to the individual.

I have worked with children in both classroom and one-to-one settings since 2019 and have over seven years' experience as a private tutor. Throughout this time, I have supported pupils aged 3–11 across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping them to build confidence, strengthen core skills and achieve their academic goals.

Alongside tutoring, I qualified as a Primary Teacher (PGCE with QTS) and taught as a KS1 Class Teacher at Betty Layward Primary School in Hackney. In this role, I planned and delivered the full primary curriculum, differentiated learning for pupils with a wide range of abilities, including SEND, EAL and higher-attaining learners, and used assessment to identify gaps and deliver targeted interventions. This experience has given me an excellent understanding of the National Curriculum and how to adapt teaching to meet individual needs.

I also completed my teacher training at Eaton House The Manor Preparatory School, where I taught across Years 1 and 3 and worked as a Teaching Assistant in Year 2. During my time there, I taught core subjects including English, Maths and Science, as well as Computing, PSHE, Drama, RS and Handwriting. Working within a leading independent preparatory school gave me valuable insight into the expectations of the independent sector and selective school admissions.

As a private tutor, I have worked with numerous families on both a short- and long-term basis. I specialise in preparing pupils for 7+, 8+ and 11+ entrance examinations and have successfully helped children gain places at leading independent schools, including two pupils who secured places at Eaton House The Manor. I provide tailored support across English and Maths, as well as phonics, reading, writing, spelling, comprehension and reasoning. My lessons are carefully planned following an initial assessment, allowing me to target gaps in knowledge while building confidence and independence. I tutor both online and in person and regularly support children with SEND through personalised learning strategies and structured, engaging lessons.

Before qualifying as a teacher, I also gained extensive childcare experience working as a nanny for private families in the UK and across Europe, including a high-net-worth family during a ski season in France. These roles strengthened my communication skills, adaptability and ability to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents, qualities that continue to underpin my work as a tutor today.

I attended Benenden School in Kent, where I studied A Levels in Geography, English and History of Art. I then went on to Oxford Brookes University, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Geography with a 2:1. My passion for working with children led me to complete a PGCE in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at Buckinghamshire New University, before completing my Early Career Teacher training with UCL.

I am a qualified Primary Teacher (PGCE with QTS) and an experienced private tutor with over seven years' experience supporting children aged 3–11 across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Having recently completed my full-time role as a KS1 Class Teacher at Betty Layward Primary School in Hackney, I am now focusing on private tutoring, where I can provide personalised one-to-one support tailored to each child's individual needs.

Before qualifying as a teacher, I worked as a nanny for a high-net-worth family during a ski season in France and have since undertaken further international childcare roles across Europe. These experiences strengthened my adaptability, independence and ability to build strong relationships with children and families.

Every child learns differently, so I believe the most effective tuition is tailored to the individual. I begin by getting to know each pupil's strengths, areas for development and learning style, allowing me to create lessons that are engaging, purposeful and suited to their needs. My aim is not only to improve academic attainment but also to build confidence, independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.

As a qualified Primary Teacher, I combine a structured approach with warmth, patience and creativity. I use a range of teaching strategies, interactive activities and practical resources to keep lessons engaging, adapting my methods to ensure every child feels supported and appropriately challenged. Whether preparing a pupil for 7+, 8+ or 11+ entrance examinations, reinforcing classroom learning or supporting a child with SEND, I focus on creating a positive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their progress.

Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy skiing, yoga, travelling and arts. I am passionate about staying active and exploring new places, and I believe these interests help me bring energy, creativity and a positive outlook to my work with young people.
