I originally started tutoring Science and Mathematics 6 years ago while studying for my A-levels, helping multiple GCSE students at my school tackle their upcoming examinations with more confidence and a better understanding of the subject. My students varied from those who needed assistance to pass to those aiming for Oxbridge and/or Medicine/dentistry applications. With my help, all students improved drastically, with a majority achieving 9's or 8's in Science and Mathematics. Since then, I have voluntarily guided multiple students with both A-levels and the medical school admission process, with a selection of my tutees receiving multiple medicine offers from the likes of Queen Mary University of London (QMUL; Barts), University College London (UCL), and King's College London (KCL).

Biography

I hold a First-Class (Hons) integrated MSc in Pharmacology from the research-centred University of Bristol and an incoming place on the Graduate Entry Medicine (MBChB) programme at the University of Manchester. Prior to my university studies, I attended Redborne School & College, where I achieved straight A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics A-levels, and an A in my EPQ focusing on the bioethics of euthanasia. In my GCSEs, I scored all 9's within STEM subjects and achieved the highest grades in the cohort for both Chemistry and Physics. Having successfully completed A-levels, attained a top decile UCAT-score, and completed the medical school admissions process myself, I plan to tutor students these subjects part-time alongside my studies.

Approach to Tutoring

Having tutored students of all abilities, I adapt my tutoring style to each student's particular needs and requirements. I offer targeted, friendly tuition that combines academic rigour with a results-focused approach to help students build confidence and reach their potential.

When not tutoring

Most of my time is spent studying and involving myself with research opportunities primarily focused on emergency medicine and cardiology. Outside of work, I am a keen enjoyer of the outdoors where I am frequently mountain biking, hiking, and enjoying all things fitness!
