I have taught all Year Groups from Year 1 - Year 6 and specialise in Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning in addition to 7+, 8+ & 11+ exam and interview preparation.

I am also an experienced English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Teacher. After graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2011, I completed my CELTA qualification at Embassy English, Cambridge and taught as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher to a diverse range of international students spanning from beginner to proficient levels, honing their ability to explain complex linguistic and grammatical concepts with absolute clarity.

As a History graduate from the University of Cambridge (from which I graduated in 2011) and a Henrietta Barnett alumna (which I attended from 2001-2008), I have a strong educational background and ethos. I believe in the importance of giving pupils all of the tools, study skills, knowledge and confidence that they need to succeed in their studies.
I am an experienced and knowledgeable Deputy Head with over 13 years of experience teaching (nine years of which have been in the independent sector), specialising in premium 11+ preparation and bespoke homeschooling programs. I have an in-depth understanding of the UK independent schools admissions process, combined with a proven track record of securing places at the country’s most competitive and prestigious senior schools.

One of my key strengths is my ability to calibrate my tutoring to ensure that pupils requiring significant extra support are given it constructively and enthusiastically, whilst more able pupils are challenged and stretched academically in an inspirational manner.

I have successfully prepared pupils for entry into a range of top secondary schools, including Godolphin and Latymer, St Paul’s and Dulwich College. My approach encompasses the full 11+ spectrum: rigorous Maths and English instruction, innovative Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning, and high-stakes interview coaching and confidence building.

As an experienced Deputy Head, I am able to provide incisive academic consultancy. I can identify a pupil's learning gaps within a single session, build a rapport with them, and formulate and implement a bespoke data-informed roadmap that gives parents absolute confidence in their child’s upward trajectory.

I am a specialist in digital pedagogy and am highly adept at using digital platforms to deliver sessions that are as informative and engaging as any in-person lesson.

I have extensive experience acting as the primary point of contact for ambitious families. I am comfortable managing high-pressure expectations and providing the pastoral stability necessary for pupils to thrive under the pressure of competitive exams.

I am a Senior Teacher Trainer and work as an Alban Education Expert and an associate for NACE (The National Association for Able Children in Education).
