I gained extensive experience working with students during the summers of 2023 and 2024 while supporting international students aged 13–18 at an academic summer camp in London. In this role, I worked closely with students from a wide range of educational and cultural backgrounds, supervising them during lessons, activities, excursions, and residential periods. I led and facilitated icebreakers, sports sessions, electives, evening events, and full-day city trips, helping students build confidence, teamwork, and independence in unfamiliar academic and social environments. A key part of my role involved supporting student wellbeing, providing pastoral care, resolving conflicts, and addressing individual concerns to ensure students felt safe, supported, and engaged throughout their stay. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate clearly with young people, adapt to different learning needs, and create a positive, structured environment — skills that I now bring into my private tutoring.

I attended DLD College London, where I completed my A levels in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, achieving A* grades in all three subjects. I then went on to study Physics at University College London (UCL), graduating with a First Class Honours BSc.

Following this, I completed an MSc in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces (Theoretical Physics) at Imperial College London, where my dissertation on generalised symmetries in quantum field theory was awarded a Distinction. I am currently applying for PhD programmes in Theoretical Physics and, alongside this, I am entering the education sector as a private tutor.

Through my academic journey, I have developed a strong, intuitive understanding of complex mathematical and physical concepts, and I enjoy helping students build both confidence and depth in their understanding, whether they are preparing for exams or aiming to push beyond the syllabus.

I believe that students understand Mathematics and Physics best when abstract ideas are placed in a clear and meaningful context. As such, I make regular use of real-world examples and physical intuition to help students see why a topic matters, not just how to apply it in exams.

My approach often involves introducing slightly more advanced ideas than those strictly required by the curriculum, as I have found that this broader perspective can make core material feel more natural and easier to grasp. I aim to be patient, structured, and adaptable, tailoring each lesson to the student’s level and learning style, while encouraging curiosity and independent thinking.

I am currently applying for PhD programmes in Theoretical Physics, and alongside this I work as a private tutor. Much of my time outside of tutoring is spent on independent academic research, particularly in theoretical physics, which helps keep my subject knowledge sharp and up to date.

I also have a strong interest in education and learning methods, and regularly spend time developing new teaching approaches and refining lesson content for my students. In addition, I continue to build my quantitative and problem-solving skills through coding, mathematics, and online courses. Outside of work, I enjoy watching football at the weekends.
