Throughout this period, I have maintained continuous tutoring practice with no gaps in employment, building long-term relationships with families and achieving consistent success in entrance examinations (placements at Westminster, St Paul's, Latymer Upper) and public examinations.
The tutorials I offer are designed to help each student to become self-sufficient. Typically, I use current work assignments as a spring board for broader discussion, providing a student with the tools to build and reinforce a growing skill-set. I aim to create a challenging and dynamic work space, which encourages original thought and genuine engagement in the subject. I firmly believe that learning requires creative engagement and enjoyment, therefore I strive to make all my lessons as much fun as possible. I offer a bespoke service, providing individualised lesson plans, worksheets and also custom-made revision packs for students undertaking examinations. I also have extensive experience teaching students with dyslexia and dyspraxia and finding alternative learning strategies to help students reach their potential.
I currently work as a remote classroom and homeschooling teacher at the British School Monaco, delivering IGCSE and A-Level courses in English Literature and History. This position provides a stable, predictable schedule that complements my established tutoring practice.
When not teaching or tutoring, I am based in London and work as a screenwriter, which allows me to provide consistent, reliable tutoring support. My teaching position in Monaco is part-time/flexible, ensuring I have dedicated availability for tutoring commitments in London.
I am fully committed to continuing both my teaching role and expanding my tutoring practice for at least the next 2-3 years, with particular focus on entrance examination preparation and homeschooling support. My schedule is predictable and I can guarantee long-term availability for families, which I understand is essential for building the trust and continuity that produces the best academic outcomes.
