Biography
I've been a tutor since 2009 and I specialise in Art History. I'm experienced at teaching at all levels including AS Level, A2, university degree level and anyone with a general interest in the subject.
I currently tutor with Art History Abroad in Italy as well as working as a Marketing Executive for a learning and communications company.
Random fact: I once led a 2000 mile expedition on foot and horses from Ecuador to Bolivia where I taught English and Maths in schools along the way.
Personal Approach
I am enthusiastic, engaging and precise. I think it is highly important to focus on exactly what the marker/examiner is looking for, after all - that's the key to a good grade.
There are more obvious benefits brought about by individual tutoring upon which Keystone prides itself: establishing a student's problem area and turning it into a strength.
What I do when I am not tutoring
As well as marketing in my full time job, I am a keen footballer, cricketer and trumpeter. I also write an art blog.
Testimonials
'Ed Lines is creative, resourceful, able to convert others to a position he believes in, honourable, a good communicator and definitely someone who will not quit when the going gets tough. He is someone we would be honoured to have teach our own children, also a good example for them.' Bruce Thornton, founder of Bruce Organisation (a charity with schools throughout South America)
'In those essays I handed in after the hectic Christmas holidays I got what I wanted and didn’t dip lower than a 2.1, setting me in good stead with my degree, obviously with great help and guidance from you. Once again thank you very much and I will contact you in the future.'
'I got the 2.1 I was hoping for. Many thanks for all your help'
