Biography
I grew up in Lincolnshire, thoroughly enjoying all aspects of the countryside whilst studying for A-Levels in Chemistry, Geography and Maths (where I achieved a grade of 100% for Pure Maths). Alongside my studies, I was Head Girl and fully involved in all extra-curricular activities, representing the county for hockey, netball and as a member of the country orchestra (flute). Additionally I was (and still am!) a keen rider and aged 17 won my class at the national championships.
I went on to study a MSci/Chemistry at Bristol University, winning the Pfizer prize for my 3rd year research report and the Thermoquest Finnigan prize for my 4th year research project.
Following Bristol, I worked at Goldman Sachs in Equity Sales for 2 years, before moving on to Private Equity. I left the city last year to set up my own internet company (combining my business experience with my passion for horses!), which is in it's first year.
Personal Approach
I believe in addressing the needs of each child individually and working with them to help them understand how to work through a problem for themselves. Confidence is often the key and I am keen to work with them to improve the confidence in their own abilities in a varied and fun atmosphere.
My particular strengths lie in working with your child to improve their academic skills as well as project based work or reports.
