Biography
I attended Charterhouse school and took A-levels in Politics, English Literature and Geography. After taking a Gap Year, I went to Edinburgh University where I studied Politics, graduating with a 2.1. in 2007. In my final year at university, I decided that I wished to pursue a career in law and so, in 2007/8, I undertook a Graduate Diploma in Law. Last summer I completed the Legal Practice Course, the final phase before being eligible to become a trainee solicitor. I am scheduled to start work at a City firm in February 2010.
Personal Approach
Although this may vary from student to student, I generally like to try and simplify things as much as possible. This often involves breaking down seemingly complex concepts into smaller, more digestible chunks. I also find the use of visualisation techniques involving 'trigger words' and acronyms to be of great benefit when it comes to helping students remember vast quantities of information.
