How does it work?
For those who do not want to follow the conventional programmes of two-year GCSE or A-Level study, our experienced tutors Keystone can offer a fully personalised programme with flexible term dates and duration.
Our programmes are delivered using our interactive online learning platform (visit our online tutoring page to find out more). Within central London tutors can also attend students homes in person.
Popular options include:
GCSE, AS or A Level Re-take:
- One-year and one-term courses
- All units or selected units can be re-taken
- Study programmes can focus on selected topics within units
One-Year GCSE, AS or A-Level:
- First time GCSE, AS or A-Level study
- Selective revision of units or a complete review is possible
What does a programme of study look like?
As our programmes are one-to-one, Keystone is able to take on students at any time during the academic year and tailor a bespoke study plan for each student. The highly flexible nature of each programme is perfect for students who want a more bespoke learning experience that is designed around their own needs. Typically, we recommend the following number of session per week per subject:
- GCSE: 2 x hour-long sessions
- AS & A Level: 3 x hour-long sessions
Our tutors would also set independent work between lessons.
What does it cost?
Tutors bill by the hour for each lesson taught and start at a rate of £60.00 (inc. VAT) per hour, however, this can increase for more experienced tutors. The pricing of our one-to-one programmes compares favourably against tutorial colleges where students are often in classes of up to 10 students.
