Course Description
Over the course of the week we will look at areas of the 13+ syllabus that students tend to find more challenging, together with addressing specific aspects that might be raised by the students themselves during the sessions. We will work on consolidating knowledge and understanding as well as on building exam technique skills. The lessons will include a variety of activities such as multiple choice quizzes, questions requiring the application of knowledge and data interpretation; the students will have the opportunity to work independently as well as participate to group discussions.
The course is aimed at students who are studying Science at 13+ level and wish to revise certain key topics of the syllabus and work on exam skills.

Course Tutor
I worked for nearly four years in a London prep school where I taught 13+ Science and helped students prepare for the Common Entrance exam as well as for entrance exams to specific schools. I am therefore very familiar with the syllabus as well as the assessment. I always encourage my students to look beyond the syllabus, put topics in context and make connections; this not only makes learning more interesting but it helps with improving knowledge and understanding.
