Course Description
In this 13+ Maths course, students will be going over some of the most problematic elements of the 13+ syllabus. In addition, there will be time to practice exam style questions and discuss exam and revision techniques.
This course is an excellent way to revise those tricky 13+ topics as the exams loom closer. In addition, it’s a great opportunity for some focused individual tuition on the areas each student is finding the hardest.
Day 1: Algebra
Expressions and Equations
Day 2: Surface Area & Volume
Cuboids, Compound shapes
Day 3: Ratio & Percentages
Calculations and Word Questions
Day 4: Wrapping Up
Exam Technique and Course Consolidation
Detailed feedback: An end of course report is sent on completion detailing the student’s achievements and areas for further work.
Easter Holidays Tutor:
Sebastian is an Oxford graduate who teaches a variety of subjects across the age range. He has many years of teaching and tutoring experience and believes in inspiring his students and helping them to become independent learners.
May Half Term Tutor:
Joseph is a Durham graduate and a highly personable tutor who has taught 1,400 hours through Keystone. He helps with a wide range of subjects from English to Science. Joseph has a structured but adaptive approach to lessons, which aims to build up students’ confidence in their subject area and develop their independent learning skills.
- Maximum Class Size: We teach in groups of no more than 10 with the average number in our classes being 5
