Biography
I was educated at Gordonstoun School and Edinburgh University where I read English Literature. I have lived in London for three years working as a tutor, freelance journalist and writer.
Personal Approach
From my schooling I gained a holistic attitude towards education based around building confidence and playing to your individuals strengths. This is at the centre of my own teaching approach, my technique is guided by each child's character and needs. Building confidence is the first step often needed before academic goals can be realised, then a disciplined and methodical approach allows children to achieve their best.
What I do when I am not tutoring
I am currently working on a children's book and contribute articles freelance to a variety of arts publications.
