Ten years of tutoring, 2 years in a state school. Adult evening classes for one year. I've got a wealth of knowledge of maths education as it is a passion of mine.

Biography

I have been a tutor for ten years and have had considerable success. I've also had the opportunity to have my method published, and this is called Naked Numbers. It has recently topped the Bestseller charts on Amazon.

Personal Approach

My approach is a calm and patient one that is tailor made for the student. I generally start right at the beginning, to ensure the foundation is there. If it is, great, we can move on, if it's not, it needs fixing! I use my concept of three rules of maths and then apply them throughout. It's very effective. I also use more advanced techniques for multiplication and division as well as algebra which makes it much easier.

What I do when I am not tutoring

Many things! Apart from tuition and working on my book, I have won a scholarship to do a mechanical engineering degree from Europe's largest engineering company. The course is going extremely well and it includes Summer work experience and a job at the end.
