Biography
After graduating in Pure Maths from Queen Mary's college in 2000, I joined HSBC Bank as a Research Analyst. In my five years with HSBC I held several other roles in Financial Planning & Analysis, Systems Development and Product Management.
After leaving HSBC, I joined Citigroup Private Bank in the role of Financial Analyst. After over a year in this role I joined Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as a Finance Manager in the Global Merchant Services business.
I furthered my professional development by studying for and successfully completing the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification in November 2008.
Personal Approach
I believe in taking a flexible approach as every student is unique - the pace of learning and methods of teaching are therefore tailored to the needs of the individual. I don't subscribe to the one size fits all philosophy.
I am very patient, creative and energetic and always aim to make learning interactive, motivating and exciting, using real world examples from my experience.
What I do when I am not tutoring
At the end of 2008, I left RBS to start up my own Spa/Salon business, which I am currently managing as a Director.
