11+ English, 13+ English, French: for exams, Spanish (all age groups), Spanish: for exams

Experience

Since graduating I have been gaining experience in private tuition by helping a Latin beginner get to the standard of Common Entrance before he goes to Harrow. Previously I taught for three months in a school as an assistant sports teacher offering the pupils individual help when difficulties arose.

Biography

I recently graduated from Edinburgh University MA Hons. degree in Linguistics (July 09). Having taken three languages to A-Level (French, Latin and Greek)linguistics was the perfect degree to broaden my understanding of the inner workings of language.

Personal Approach

I am a very personable tutor with a real passion for the languages I teach. I aim to instill in my pupils a real desire to work, as I feel that hard work and fun should not be mutually exclusive. I am patient and I like to identify individual problems early on, spending a considerable amount of time ironing out any particular creases.
