Biography
As a brief introduction; I am 25 years old and hold a first class Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol. After graduating in 2006, I joined The Royal Bank of Scotland as a graduate trainee, and subsequently left early last year, having spent almost 2 years at the bank. Prior to university, I had a year-out teaching and travelling in Eastern Africa. At A-levels I obtained excellent grades in Physics, Mathematics and Economics. I also studied Chemistry to AS-level. I have recently studied and passed Chartered Financial Analyst Levels 1 and 2 (CFA 1 and 2), and am planning on sitting Level 3 in June 2010.
Personal Approach
For the quantitative subjects that I predominantly teach, my teaching methods largely concentrate on question practice and learning through making mistakes! By leading my tutees through a variety of questions, taken from past exam papers and exercise books, I am able to build their confidence and give them the tools necessary to tackle actual exam questions.
