Experience
My teaching experience is broad, from working with younger students, particularly those preparing for the 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+ through to intensive A level exam preparation.
A large proportion of my students are between
6-13 years old, and I am experienced with the Maths and English requirements for this age group. My understanding of this area means that I now work as a private tutor for the Royal Family of Luxembourg, and for a Royal Family from the Middle East.
In addition, I have specialist experience in A level Economics and A level Maths (Pure and Statistics). Most recently I worked intensively with an A level student, and helped her with both an AS resit and A2 micro and macro economic exams. The strength of her summer exams meant she was able to pull her grade from a D (at AS level) to a final grade A at A level.
Moreover, I have accumulated a wealth of resources to assist students, including licensed teachers electronic resources, Rapid Revision Q&A packs, and Revision toolkits.
In addition, I teach law and advocacy to students age 11 - 18 years old.

Biography
I completed my A levels in Maths (A), Economics (A), English literature (A), and Art (A). I then read undergraduate Law at Keble College, Oxford. Whilst at Oxford I was very active in College life, playing netball, hockey and tennis, whilst also serving on the undergraduate student body.
On completion of my undergraduate studies I undertook a Master of Laws at University College London, specialising in International and Comparative law. My LLM was awarded with Distinction.
It was through my mothers passion for teaching (she is head of year 11 at a private secondary school in Surrey) that I initially became involved in tutoring.
I take great pleasure working with students of all ages, and enjoy watching them progress and gain in confidence. I have worked as a tutor for the past three years.
I am now in the final stages of training to become a Barrister.
Personal Approach
It is important to respond to the individual needs and abilities of each student. For students who lack theoretical understanding of a subject, then the emphasis must be on substantive teaching.
However, I find many students are very bright, but lack an understanding of how to approach academic work and have never be taught how to structure exam answers. I have a great deal of experience helping students understand and engage with subjects. I always emphasise that I am not their teacher but I am there to support, encourage and motivate them. Building a good relationship with all my students, and creating an environment where they feel able to ask questions, is the key to ensuring students progress.
What I do when I am not tutoring
Read, ski, play tennis, travel.
