Biography
I grew up and went to School in Sheffield where I acheived four As in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Economics A-Level. I then achieved a 1st class Economics degree from The University of Bristol. Since leaving Bristol I have worked for an investment bank and an economics consultancy firm and taken a year out to travel. I am now studying my law conversion course in London after which I will start work for a city law firm.
Personal Approach
I believe that the most effective way of teaching is to simplify the subject as much as possible without losing any detail. It is key for the pupils to be confident with the material that they are studying and I aim to ensure this is the case.
Whilst achieving this I make sure that the lessons are tailored to each individual and that above all they are enjoyable and engaging.
What I do when I am not tutoring
I am a huge sports fan. I love to play football, I represented The University of Bristol and play regularly in London. I am also a keen golfer and go to the gym, run and cycle to keep fit. Every year I go skiing and I skied for the entire season in 2009/2010.
I have also got my FA Level One coaching badge and where other commitments allow I enjoy doing some football coaching.
As well as sports I love to travel. I have travelled around Nepal, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Indonesia.
