Biography
I've been a History and Government & Politics teacher for the past 9 years. Most recently at Mill Hill School in north London and before that at Gravesend Grammar School, an ability selective school in Kent.
A born and raised Australian, I've been in London for 5 years living in the East of the city. I went to the University of Western Australia for my undergraduate degree in History and Politics. That was followed by a few years at Deakin University in Victoria where I completed my Master of Arts in International Politics.
Personal Approach
As a teacher of several years I find the best way of getting results from children is the one on one approach. The ability to work with one person, ask questions, seek advice and get feedback is invaluable to the learning process.
A relaxed atmosphere which is congenial to both tutor and student I think is the best environment for the students to achieve.
What I do when I am not tutoring
When not tutoring, I'm working at my current job, working on my Masters degree in Education and usually doing some outdoor walking or reading.
I'm looking forward to some time in Spain during summer and attempting to format an itinerary!
