Experience
I am a fully qualified teacher with 3 years teaching experience in UK schools. I have extensive experience of teaching the 11-18 age group, and have received only 'Good' or 'Outstanding' in OFSTED graded observations. Furthermore, I was part of a 2 person Psychology department in raising the overall exam score from a 7 to a 3 in only 3 years.

Biography
I attended James Allen's Girls' School from the age of 4-17 and achieved Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry A Levels. I then gained a BSc Psychology (University of Warwick), PGCE Psychology and MSc Psychology of Education (Institute of Education). I recently achieved a Distinction in my Masters dissertation, and will be pursuing this research in my forthcoming PhD.
Personal Approach
I am professional and friendly,and consider my students' individual needs when devising lesson plans, delivering lessons and giving assessment feedback. I feel that building confidence and inspiring students is central to students' enjoyment and achievement.
From my professional background in schools, I understand the importance of ensuring parents/guardians are involved in their child's learning, and should be informed of progress regularly.
What I do when I am not tutoring
I am a keen musician and have completed Grade 8 piano, Grade 7 flute, play guitar and sing. I also enjoy visiting museums, galleries and talks at the LSE on a variety of subjects. I enjoy walking and yoga to keep fit and well.
