How our Maths tutoring works
Keystone Tutors represents a large team of passionate and experienced Maths tutors. The tutors we work with have detailed knowledge of the various Maths curricula and have an outstanding ability to connect with their students, impart their subject knowledge, explain concepts and increase subject confidence.
All tutoring is tailored to the individual needs of each child based on their strengths, areas of development, learning style and their subject exam board.
We provide Maths tuition for specific exams including Maths tuition for 7+, 8+, 11+, 13+ and 16+ school entrance, GCSE Maths, IGCSE Maths, IB Maths, A Level Maths, Oxford MAT and STEP Maths. We help to improve exam performance by making use of past Maths papers, reinforcing core learning, developing revision techniques, and helping students to push the boundaries of their knowledge of Maths to differentiate themselves from fellow students. We offer the following levels for Maths tuition:
We have a monthly reporting system which is used to update parents on an ongoing basis. The monthly report details:
- the focus of that month’s tutoring
- the form of assessment used
- the student's achievements and areas for further work
- the focus for the coming month
The regular, rigorous reporting of the tutors we represent is frequently commended by parents.
The Maths tutors we represent are able to deliver in-person tuition within central London. For those outside of central London we offer online tutoring.
The Maths tutors we represent are well versed in delivering online tuition, using videoconferencing and an interactive whiteboard. This gives students, wherever they are in the world, access to experienced, high quality Maths tutors who are familiar with the requirements of national and school entrance exams.

The Maths Admissions Test (MAT) at Oxford
What is the MAT? The Maths Admissions Test (MAT) is the admissions test used by Oxford for degrees in Mathematics. If you’re applying for a Maths or Computer Science degree at Oxford or a Maths degree at Imperial College London, you must sit the MAT just after beginning year 13 in late October/early November.
